I have been in the building trade for over 30 years. Undergoing an apprenticeship under my father (my mother in the office that kept everything in order) they taught me a lot not just in the carpentry/joinery but how to treat people as people, not job numbers. It’s been a privilege to be apart of a second generation of carpenters in the hills and surrounding foothills. It gives me a good understanding of regulations and requirements needed to build locally.

In the early days I did a lot a of subcontracting in the city but longed to establish my own building business, building for my locals amongst the hills and trees. It didn’t take me long to establish this dream and I haven’t looked back. I am grateful to be working in the hills and surrounding foothills and also have had the privilege to have worked with a lot of good people along the way and many more to come.
